Coaching Experience: This will be my third year coaching U12. I greatly enjoy being with my athletes and watching them grow as skiers and as individuals. Competitive Freeski is a perfect microcosm of life, it requires discipline, creativity, planning, quick thinking, confidence in one’s own actions and the need to take responsibility for one’s own decisions, no matter the outcome.

Skiing highlight: Last year’s highlight was coaching U12 at The North American Junior Freeride Championships / Kicking Horse BC. Watching these young athletes negotiate new terrain, terrible visibility all the while keeping a great attitude was inspiring.

For the Love of it: I rode most my life and then started skiing when my son turned 3, I love being in the outdoors and exploring new terrain, especially in the woods.
